SEED AND SEEDLING DISTRIBUTION

The seed must be supplied in good time for planting: farmers should be compensated in the event of late distribution.

If the desired planting method is nursery germination and subsequent transplanting of seedlings, the company should ensure that good nursery practice is taught. In some cases it may be preferable for the company to manage the nursery and to distribute seedlings ready for planting out, rather than supplying seed itself.
