CONTAMINATION VIA PESTICIDE : PROCEDURES

Procedure: Restrict use of all pesticides to those approved by trading blocks/client. Use as instructed by the label. Reduce dependence on use of pesticides and encourage IPM practices
Frequency of use: Each application
Remedial Action: Delay harvest. Sample the affected crop. Analyse the sample for inappropriate residues. Evaluate, release or reject the crop.
Records: Record application date, pesticide used and application rate
