PREPARING AND AGREEING CROP SPECIFICATIONS - KEY QUESTIONS

  1. Has the exporter (and smallholder representative) collaborated with the supermarket (or an importer working on behalf of the supermarket), to prepare specifications that they all agree on?

  2. Does the exporter have demonstrable experience of selling produce of the correct specifications to the supermarket or importer?

  3. Is there documented evidence that has been validated by a third party to confirm that the smallholders meet the agreed specifications?
