Considerations
Is the reason for establishing the group clear to all concerned? There is no point in establishing a group unless its purpose is clearly defined and understood
Have steps been taken to consult women as well as men in setting group objectives? Certain group members (e.g. women) may have very different views to others but may find it difficult to voice their opinion
Is the way the group is formed appropriate for achieving the objectives for which it was set up? A group will only be supported by its members if it is effective in achieving the members' objectives.
